ABOUT US

What We Do

At PSTBETWACF, we believe in fostering a vibrant community that celebrates diversity, innovation, and the rich tapestry of Namibian culture. Our annual cultural festival is a testament to our commitment to providing a platform for entrepreneurs, artists, and creatives to showcase their talents while fostering a spirit of empowerment and unity.

Our History

Established in 2018, the Windhoek Annual Cultural Festival (WACF) made its debut in June 2019. Sylvester Shapwa, the WACF Managing Director and Co-Founder, saw a need for cultural exhibitions at most social gatherings and decided to organize one. These initiatives encourage the preservation and respect of local cultures, the advancement of economic growth, and the integration of cultural education into society. The festival seeks, among other things, to highlight and advance social empowerment, cultural variety, and artistic expression in the nation’s rich and varied traditions. The event’s organizers have taken use of the global cultural diversity to foster cultural interactions with the goal of fostering acceptance worldwide and embracing the various and distinctive cultures that exist around the world.
